Can You Really STOP SMOKING With E-Cigarettes?
A Vaporizer, also called a vapo, vaporizer, electronic cigarettes, or simply simply cigarettes, are gadgets that create a concentrated, flavored mist from different components. When you light a Vaping Cigarette, it creates an aerosol including but not limited to nicotine, tar, ammonia, skin tightening and, water, and a variety of other chemicals. It is considered safe, but you may still find some issues about them.
Probably the most common and controversial concerns about Vaping Cigarettes is safety. Using Propylene Glycol is commonly found in vaporizing cigarettes. That is a humectant, this means it attracts moisture into the lungs and holds it there. It is often contained in Nicotine Replacement Therapy products and marketed alongside nicotine patches.
However, recent studies show that the usage of this ingredient can cause several negative health effects. Most of the same ingredients that are generally found in regular cigarettes are available in these smokes. Propylene Glycol can cause severe digestive problems and may mimic the effects of nicotine. Studies show that folks who use the cigarettes are twice as likely to develop cancer compared to those who usually do not.
Another concern may be the fact that Propylene Glycol is a petroleum product that is ready-made and may contain traces of toxic chemicals. Some research has even shown that some in the e-cigarette aerosol are toxic. They can irritate the nose, eyes, throat, lips, and respiratory system. Many users also experience a metallic taste in the mouth. There have also been several cases of irritation of your skin and mild rashes which have occurred after going for a hit from an electric cigarette.
Advocates for electronic cigarettes point out that when compared to harmful ramifications of regular smoking, the effects of the cigarettes are very small. One study shows that users of electronic cigarettes are four times less inclined to develop lung cancer compared to non-smokers. The study viewed data from the Swedish Cancer Registry.
E-Cigarette advocates claim that these statistics prove that e-cigs are safer than regular cigarettes. Propylene Glycol is used in the manufacturing process because it prevents oiliness and water absorption from the e Cigarette aerosol. This prevents the smoker’s lungs from becoming irritated. In fact, there are many that say that when a smoker were to smoke a regular cigarette, their lungs would commence to feel irritated almost immediately. With the use of an e cigarette, these smokers say that the irritation to the lungs is fully gone almost immediately.
Advocates of the cigarettes explain that there are far more reported incidents of cancer with e cigarettes in comparison to regular cigarettes. They also explain that there are no tar and carcinogens released in the vapor of e cigarettes compared to a regular cigarette. They say that since they deliver a regulated quantity of propylene glycol in the e-cigarette Vape aerosol, there is no danger involved with vapors in terms of cancer or other health issues.
Despite the fact that there are many people who find themselves convinced that e-cigs are better for you, some people do not believe that there are any major advantages to quitting smoking by using an electronic cigarette. There have been some studies done by the European Agency for Research on Cancer that showed that there was a reduction in the smokers’ threat of certain types of cancers. However, you should point out that this type of study was on electronic versus regular cigarettes. More recent studies have shown that while e-cigs may be helpful in helping people stop smoking, they should not be considered as an alternative for regular cigarettes.
